Who we are Young, dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible, smart, party animals, ambitious, “work hard, play hard”, are all words that characterise a 'birdie'. Not everyone can be a 'birdie' and not everyone wants to be a 'birdie'. We are just looking for talented superstars to strengthen our team! How it all started TravelBird was born in April 2010 in the Netherlands. It all began in an attic with Dennis and Symen offering one deal a day. Almost four years later TravelBird features the most competitively priced holidays in Europe. And the expansion isn't over yet.. Soon the rest of the world will follow! The idea is simple; six inspiring deals a day, ultimate travel experiences which are easy to book. In the vibrant office in Amsterdam many enthusiastic, international employees work every day to find the best holiday destinations and create the best deals for everyone! A day as a Web Editor Of course, your day starts with a nice cup of coffee or tea and a casual check through your emails, etc. The day really begins when an account manager lands a deal with a fantastic hotel. You’ll be given the forms with all the necessary information about the partner and the offer. It’s then your job to transform this information into the most creative and attractive offer possible to go up on the TravelBird website. You will also play a part in creating the daily newsletter we send out to our customers. To succeed as a Web Editor, you’ll have to be inventive and able to write commercial deals that generate interest amongst our subscribers, as well as maintaining consistent presentation throughout the entirety of TravelBird’s web content. Overall, the role of Web Editor is an exciting position which offers freedom, opportunities to be creative and constant challenges. Who you are Creative, Enthusiastic, Flexible and FUN; A genius writer & a native French; Smart (Bachelor degree in journalism or similar); Your heart beats faster when thinking of writing and content; Positive, happy and eager to learn something new every day; Self-motivated, creative, and can spot new opportunities; Possess amazing writing skills in French and English; Preferably knows the basics of HTML; Live in (or around) the beautiful and vibrant city Amsterdam or are willing to move..
