Wildundomesticated is an independent production company. We make documentaries that engage the world with a sharp eye and a critical mind, documentaries that investigate a contemporary ‘condition humaine’ and which we feel need to be made. Often such documentaries have a hard time finding support within the existent production houses.
WILDUNDOMESTICATED adopts a grassroots approach to film making. For us the human encounter and learning experience come first.

Functieomschrijving
We are currently preparing the distribution of the film "Our City" by Maria Tarantino (Premiere in May, cinema release in November). We are looking for an enthusiastic person to assist the press agents and distributor in the search for a target public (associations that deal with the issues raised by the film) and possible venues. We are also using Facebook and Vimeo to create a grassroot following around the film and to create contacts for possible screenings.
Profiel
A good and creative researcher who can suggest/find different target publics that can relate to the film and the issues it raises, who can make contacts with cultural associations, schools, public instances, write mails in Dutch and English (French is a plus). Internet skills (for handling facebook and Vimeo, make newsletters). Basic editing skills and graphic design are a plus.
