For the production ORESTEIA from Milo Rau, NTGent is searching a Cassandra.
The production will be produced and rehearsed partly in Gent, Belgium, and partly in Sinjar and Mosul, North Iraq (Kurdistan).
Voor de productie ORESTEIA, een regie van Milo Rau zoekt NTGent een Cassandra.
Leeftijd tussen 18-35 jaar.
De productie wordt deels in Gent, België en deels in Sinjar en Mosul, Noord-Irak (Kurdistan) gemaakt.
Milo Rau is de nieuwe artistiek directeur van NTGent, hij werkt aan het concept van een mondiaal stadstheater; "theater van het echte". Hij regisseerde bijvoorbeeld "Five Easy Pieces" met kinderen over de zaak Marc Dutroux en het project en film "The Congo Tribunal" in Bukavu, Oost-Congo.

For Cassandra, we are searching a young woman that originally has roots in this region (North of Iraq or North of Syria), but lives in Belgium, France or Holland now.
Age between 18-35.
Being a professional actress helps, but is not necessary.
Perfect would be: speaking Arab or Kurdish, and Flemish or French.
Voor Cassandra zoeken we een jonge vrouw die oorspronkelijk in deze regio is geworteld in Noord Irak of Noord Syrië, maar nu in België, Frankrijk of Nederland woont.
Leeftijd tussen 18-35 jaar.
Een professionele actrice zijn helpt maar is niet nodig.
Perfect zou zijn: Arabisch of Koerdisch spreken en Vlaams of Franstalig zijn.
