Gallery Intern
Contemporary art gallery supporting emerging and mid-career artists and active both in Brussels and abroad, currently has a position for one intern to join our team for a learning period starting mid Sept. for a duration of 6 months.

Employer:
Harlan Levey Projects (HLP) Gallery is located in Brussels, at the heart of the European capital’s gallery district. The gallery works closely with a small roster of international artists, hosting an annual program that includes solo projects, thematic group exhibitions, performances and community building/educational activities.
Tasks:
- Welcome guests to the Gallery (we require at least 2 days per week, from 13.00 till 19.00)
- Assist Production of Exhibitions
- Assist PR activities and social media (facebook, etc.)
- General Administrative tasks and Database upkeep
- Tasks might vary according to personal preferences and required assistance from time to time.
Skills and Characteristics:
- Self-starter with a desire to learn
- Passionate about contemporary art
- Friendly, open minded, reliable
- Proficiency in Office programs, InDesign, Photoshop
- Proficiency in English, Dutch and French
Aanbod
This is a non-paid learning period. Travel and gallery related communications costs will be reimbursed. After the successful completion, the intern will receive necessary acknowledgements of experience and learning, as well as recommendations.
